Silver and Ink - Fine Art Photography by David Bartlett | Archival Processing

Archival processing of a silver gelatin print ensures that the image will persist with little if any degradation for as long as the paper lasts, assuming, of course, that no extraordinary damage occurs. Silver gelatin prints offered on this site have been treated with "hypo-eliminator" and thoroughly washed in an archival print washer to remove fixer, treated with selenium to prevent reaction of the image silver with air pollutants, and then washed again.
